The Game Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality games and interactive experiences using Unity and C#. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, creativity, and problem-solving to bring engaging digital experiences to life. The Game Developer will collaborate with the design, programming, and support teams to ensure smooth integration between gameplay systems, visual elements, and user interactions across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain game features, tools, and systems using Unity and C#. • Collaborate with designers and artists to implement gameplay mechanics, UI/UX elements, and visual effects. • Optimize games for performance and memory usage across multiple platforms (mobile, PC, or web). • Integrate third-party SDKs, APIs, and backend services to extend game functionality. • Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and gameplay imbalances. • Participate in prototyping and iteration cycles to refine gameplay experiences. • Contribute to improving development workflows, tools, and version control practices. • Support testing and debugging efforts in coordination with QA and support teams. • Stay current with Unity updates, C# best practices, and game development trends to enhance Remal’s capabilities.
Required Competencies: • Programming: C#, Unity scripting, object-oriented programming • Game Design Tools: Unity Editor, animation systems, physics, UI Toolkit • Version Control: Git, GitHub, or GitLab • Optimisation: Profiling tools, memory management, frame rate optimisation • Asset Integration: 2D/3D assets, particle systems, animations, and shaders • Deployment: Building and testing for multiple platforms (mobile, PC, web) Education/Qualification/ Certification and Work Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related technical field. • 1–3 years of professional experience as a Unity or Game Developer. • Proven experience in shipping or contributing to one or more Unity-based projects. • Familiarity with gameplay systems, UI programming, and asset pipelines. • Experience collaborating with artists, designers, and cross-functional teams. • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills. • A creative mindset and passion for delivering high-quality digital entertainment experiences.
